I can think of nothing more miserable in this modern era than fame. Give me a small but dedicated readership who actually engages with the work any day over mass appeal and mass criticism from the internet hive mind.

I'm grappling with these very struggles and temptations, so hearing you acknowledge them and guide us through with wisdom was perfectly timed. Truly the Holy Spirit working -- thank you for sharing what you've learned with those of us just wading in.
So true! Writing to the people you've been called to serve is of the highest value! Can you imagine if Paul wrote to the Pharisees or anyone other than the Corinthians, Ephesians, Galatians...
