I was so blessed by this understanding - that righteousness is about right relationships, rather than holiness - that I shared it with my husband. He just said "Yes of course!" How can I have been married to this man (a preacher) for 40+ years and yet not understood this basic idea! Just shows that things can take a very long time to register fully! šŸ˜‚ Thanks for this insight Aaron, I obviously needed it! It will change how I think about what it means to be covered in the righteousness of Christ. And that it's not just about me and God, but all relationships.

This adds some welcome clarity to righteousness. So when we seek the kingdom and it's righteousness, we are seeking proper relationship with Yahweh, as was shown to us perfectly by Christ.

This is extraordinary. And for me, it's a "word in season." I'm currently wrestling with a serious trauma from my childhood - one that I have ignored for 50+ years; your words here have helped me put another piece of that puzzle into place. Thank you for the clarification and insight.

After first listening to the podcast, then reading what you have gone over, it's made it clearer & clearer .... thank you for taking the time to do so. Love the visual analogy you provided with that exhausting moment, with Jack's precious response to you ... "I love you too, Daddy .... a whole lot!"

I Bet your hearted melted!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
