Always enjoy reading your pieces… but this one brought me to tears. I had never heard of Glen. Had never heard of the movie. Thank you for introducing me to him. Now to go immerse myself in his music because your essay truly was beautiful.

Thank you for not quitting pulling your boat up the mountain. I am the better for it

I was so worried that this essay would not be able to impact people who weren’t familiar with his music… thank you for proving my instinct wrong on that! Very encouraging comment.

PS. I also loved how you tied our faith into your writing. With the examples both from the old testament and the new, as well as personal events that have shaped your life & that of your parents.

Was it your voice that did the reading of your essay?

I know you do voices for various literary works.

If so, you are very good, I feel like you should be able to make a living with your voice.

It reminds me of the good old days when you and John would practise up in Solomon's porch. Fun memories.

Yes, you made me want to go listen to his music and watch that movie. Although in general, I tried to stay away from things that depress me. That movie might be very difficult for me.

One of my favorite essays you've done yet.

Thanks, Kenny! It was a labor of love. Over 24 hours of work went into this one. I felt like I was writing a term paper again lol. 😆

I very much got possessed by this idea and couldn’t drop it until it was done. It’s long, and very niche… so it’ll probably alienate a lot of my typical readers, but I’m hoping it finds the people it’s supposed to.

Thank you for the encouragement.

PPS, I think Glen would have loved your tribute.

I also had never heard of Glenn nor the movie. Thank you for introducing us to them.

[Now I have an audio editor's comment. It comes at about 44 minutes,28 seconds into your audio.

It comes with the word wound as in, "I wound the clock" past tense of wind. Versus... the word "wound" as in Jesus suffered physical hurts in his body for us.]
